Charles – Andre Comeau , was born on September 17th, 1979 in Montreal, Canada. He met Pierre Bouvier in 7th grade, and in 8th grade he was encouraged by a teacher to form a band for a talent show. Chuck, Pierre and Jean-Sebastien Boileau, another friend of them, formed a band in which Chuck began playing the drums. Although he was not well on the instrument, he practiced until he reach the professional level, and then another guitarist named Phil, joined the band.
So was born the Reset (first “Roach”, but decided to change after being threatened with prosecution for a band that had the name). After a while, Chuck left the band and devoted himself to studies.
Chuck did a year of Law at McGill University, trying to follow his father, a great lawyer. But the lessons did not please the young, so he decided to switch to journalism. After rediscovering his friends Sebastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco, he returned to play. Soon after, Pierre Bouvier and David Desrosiers joined the new band that became Simple Plan.
