With the end of the 2009 tour, the guys from Simple Plan came on vacation, but not for so long. In 2010, rumors about a possible 4th album began to emerge, and over the year, various informations became on personal Twitter and the band started to appear.
Some song names were revealed, as “Astronaut”, “This Song Saved My Life”, “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You”, and “You Suck At Love”. The last, “You Suck At Love”, was revealed during the Bamboozle Festival. Two demos were leaked on Internet, “Just Around The Corner” and “Famous For Nothing”, but soon the band told us that wouldn’t be on the new album.
In 2011, the band released in its website a piece of “You Suck At Love” in studio, in February. In March, the whole “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You” was released, and we also discovered that the song was on the soundtrack of Disney’s new movie, “Prom”. After a while, Simple Plan, to the amazement of the fans, said that the song Jet Lag was going to have two versions: one in English, with Natasha Bedingfield, and another in French, with the singer Marie-Mai.
Besides the singers, the new album have the presence of other singers like Rivers Cuomo (vocal of Weezer), Alex Gaskarth (vocal and guitarist of All Time Low), and the rapper K’Naan.
