Jean-François Stinco was born in Quebec – Canada, August 22, 1978. He’s the only band member with a background in music. Before joining Simple Plan, he gave guitar lessons and was also part of other bands: The Atomic Bananas and Madman’s Tale. He formed SP with his school friends Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau and Sebastien Lefebvre. Stinco has been agent of a Canadian band called The No No Spots, and even produced one of their albums.
In early 2007, Stinco had his first daughter named Maya Stinco. Later, in mid-2008, Zoey Stinco was born, his second daughter with his fiancée France Turgeon.
By Twitter, Jeff told the fans that would do a surgery on his shoulder. The surgery went well, but he couldn’t grind his pepper for a while.
Speaking to CSP, Jeff said that the track “Astronaut” is his favorite one of the album “Get Your Heart On!”.
